Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders are essentially tied among Democratic voters, according to a new poll.
In a new Bloomberg Politics poll of 311 people who said they have voted or will vote in a Democratic primary or caucus, 49 percent said they support Sanders, compared to 48 percent who support Clinton. Another 3 percent are unsure.

When asked about the candidates’ individual qualities and positions, Clinton won over more voters on issues related to foreign policy, Congress, effectiveness and temperament, while Sanders picked up more voters in terms of fighting hard for the middle class, honest and trustworthiness and controlling Wall Street and big banks.
In a series of hypothetical match-ups with Republican candidates, Clinton and Sanders hold leads over both Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz. Sanders, not Clinton had more support that Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who led Clinton by 4 points.
Selzer & Co. conducted the poll of 1,000 adults nationwide from March 19-22, which carries an overall margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. For the 311 Democrats surveyed, the margin of error is plus or minus 5.6 percentage points.
