Although the White House wouldn’t confirm, a Hollywood tabloid reported that President Obama dined with DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
This has become a tradition for the president when he is in Los Angeles.
“I am going to protect the president’s ability to have private conversations, whether that’s with lawmakers, whether that’s with candidates for president or whether that’s with Hollywood artists,” White House spokesman Eric Schultz told reporters traveling with Obama on Air Force One.
Deadline.com reported that they were joined by superstar Will Smith and Walt Disney Studio’s Chairman Alan Horn.
Obama headlined a Democratic fundraiser earlier Thursday evening.
