‘They hate black people’: Street preachers decry Democrats outside Seattle’s CHAZ

Footage taken along East Pine Street in Seattle shows a group of black women voicing their support for President Trump, preaching about their Christian faith, and talking to people nearby a standoff between police and anti-government demonstrators.

“I know people don’t like Trump. I get that,” one of the women can be heard saying to a group of people standing on a street corner in a video. “But let me tell you something, if I had to pick between him and Joe Biden, I’m not voting in Joe Biden. You want to see a bunch of black people go to jail by the next four years? Put Joe Biden in. Watch what happens. You want to see black men get killed substantially? Put Joe Biden in and see what happens.”

“These Democrats, and I’m sorry to say this, they hate black people,” she continued. “These are the same people who fought to keep slavery in. These are the same people who built the KKK. The Republican Party is the party of the blacks.”

Since last week, Seattle has been the site of the police-free “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” where demonstrators have taken over six city blocks and published a list of demands they want met before they are willing to leave. A total disbanding of the local police department top’s the list.

President Trump has ripped the local mayor and governor, both Democrats, for not eradicating the demonstrators and has threatened to do so himself if they don’t act soon.

“Interesting how ANTIFA and other Far Left militant groups can take over a city without barely a wimpier from soft Do Nothing Democrat leadership, yet these same weak leaders become RADICAL when it comes to shutting down a state or city and its hard working, tax paying citizens!” Trump tweeted Sunday.

The takeover of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood comes weeks after the death of George Floyd sparked massive protests around the nation and demands from Black Lives Matter activists that local governments defund police departments and do more to address systemic racism in society.

In separate videos taken Monday, the street preachers could be seen downplaying the message behind the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Black Lives Matter can’t save you, only Jesus can save you,” one of them shouted.

In the first video, a preacher said the Black Lives Matter movement had been hijacked by members of the gay and transgender community, whose rights she said, “Black people don’t really support.”

“We’re conservative,” she said. “We’re really not about that. Not only that, we don’t support abortion. We’re about working. This is the black culture.”
