A Seattle Police Department precinct was vandalized with graffiti on Tuesday shortly after the city removed a protective barricade that surrounded the building, according to authorities.

The phrases “NO GOOD COPS IN A RACIST SYSTEM,” “cops kill,” and “BLM,” among other words, were sprayed in graffiti on both the SPD West Precinct and the sidewalk area around the headquarters. Police said a group protesting “inequity in policing” was responsible for the damage.
