An employee at a Texaco gas station in Clinton was shot Saturday afternoon in what police are describing as a robbery attempt.
The man, who’s name have not been released, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a nearby hospital and released the same day, according to Larry Johnson, a Prince George’s County police spokesman.
The robbery attempt occurred around 2 p.m. at the station 6700 block of Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton, Md. Johnson said it is unclear if anything is missing from the gas station.
The suspect fled on foot and is described as a black male with a dark complexion, roughly between 5’11’’ and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hat, a black mask and a black coat, according to police.
