Two arrested in Harford armed robbery

Maryland State Police arrested two men early Saturday morning in the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store in Abingdon.

Charles Brown, 20, of Abingdon, and Damion Cook, 22, of Baltimore, were arrested after a state trooper on patrol noticed a lone man standing outside the store on Philadelphia Road at about 1 a.m.

The trooper watched the store and was waiting for backup when state police said the two suspects fled the store carrying an undisclosed amount of cash and goods. The trooper arrested one of the men, and the other was apprehended a short time later by the State Police and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. One of the men was carrying a pellet rifle when arrested.
