Noah Wyle was arrested in D.C. Monday for his part in a political protest. Along with more than 100 members of the group ADAPT, the former “ER” star was demonstrating against the possibility of cutting Medicaid spending. ADAPT maintains that the cuts would force more elderly patients into nursing homes rather than receiving care at home.
Wyle’s arrest comes on the heels of fellow “ER” alum, actor George Clooney’s, dust-up at the Sudanese Embassy, where Clooney and his dad were arrested during a protest. With two “ER” arrests on the books, we’re waiting for Julianne Margulies to be jailed during an Occupy demonstration.
