Short answer – the cameras just showed up!
Or as Michelle Malkin mordantly puts it, “A four-part interview that probably entailed hours of set-up, makeup, mic checks, and post-wrap schmoozing…and he “didn’t catch it quickly enough.” Admittedly, Obama’s explanation is patently disingenuous, but at least he sort of acknowledges his own error.
