A Colombian national found himself in a hairy situation after authorities in Spain discovered half a kilo of cocaine hidden under his toupée.
The man arrived in Barcelona on a flight from Bogota when police noticed him looking nervous while passing through security. A subsequent search found that the 65-year-old man, who has not been named, had $34,000 worth of the drug hidden under a toupée protruding from his head.
Spanish national police released photos of the man with his hair piece both on and off, face partially blurred, and the cocaine perched on his head. “His hair is going to fall out!!” they quipped.

The man has been charged and remains in Spanish custody.
