Hillary Clinton jokes about her private email system at fundraiser

What a joke.

Hillary Clinton exercised her comedic muscle at a recent New York fundraising event, according to a report in the New York Post.

While Clinton has been rather tight-lipped about her private email system apart from the March press conference that left many questions unanswered, the former secretary of state referred to the controversy in jest at an event in Long Island Monday.

Chuckling about a computer system breach at the White House last year, Clinton said that the Obama administration wouldn’t have endured the incident at the hands of Russian hackers “had they been using my server.”

It was revealed in March that, during her time at the State Department, Clinton exclusively used a personal email account, the server for which was located in her Chappaqua, N.Y., home.

The Monday fundraiser for Clinton was hosted at the Long Island home of Nassau County Democratic Chair Jay Jacobs. Individuals in attendance paid $2,700 for each admission ticket to the event.

According to reports, Russian hackers gained access to the State Department’s unclassified computer system last October, tapping into some of President Obama’s digital correspondences.
