It might have been Dancing With The Stars judge Len Goodman’s best line. Watching former Trump spokesman Sean Spicer clog through a performance, the late head judge and professional dancer said he would run naked through a grocery store if Spicer won the TV contest.
What’s more, Goodman joked that he practiced the run and said it went well until he hit the frozen food section.

Spicer, who made it through eight shows, didn’t take it as an insult. In fact, he told Secrets this week after Goodman died at 78 that he saw a twinkle of hope in the comment.
“My point is, is that he basically was saying it’s that crazy, but I think it’s still possible. Right? I mean, it’s one thing to say it’ll never happen. But I’ve already practiced because … it’s not that crazy to think it couldn’t happen,” Spicer, who joined the show in between his time as a White House spokesman and a Newsmax host, said.

Getting Goodman’s wink was key to Spicer’s efforts to build viewership support. “The only way that I was going to move on was getting the judges to at least recognize that I was working as hard as I could to improve. That was key to that because I needed the viewers to know that I appreciated all of their support, and so having him recognized that was obviously crucial,” he said.
“He least recognized and rewarded the effort that was being put in,” Spicer said. “Look, I knew I wasn’t good,” he added.
