Matt Dornic, the CNN vice president for communications and digital partnerships, ripped into Fox News after host Laura Ingraham compared climate activist Greta Thunberg to the kids in the horror film, Children of the Corn.
Ingraham showed parts of the speech Thunberg gave at the United Nations on Monday, where she said the adults had robbed her of her childhood and her future over lack of action on climate change, and then cut to a scene from the movie adaption of Stephen King’s book.
“I can’t wait for Stephen King’s sequel, ‘Children of the Climate,'” Ingraham said after the clip. “Now, the Left, if they ever get in power, will simply use the excuse of climate change to reward their friends and punish their enemies because you will have betrayed the generations before. Well, liberals want to use this global crisis to perpetuate a massive confiscation of wealth.”
On Twitter, Dornic said he is tired of people pointing to journalists such as Bret Baier and Chris Wallace to say Fox News is fair.
“If you work for Fox News, you’re complicit. And if you’re one of the aforementioned journalists, your names and faces are being used to mask bigotry, hate and prejudice. So shame on you too,” he tweeted.

This is disgusting. And I’m so tired of hearing: “but Shep, but Chris, but Bret.” If you work for Fox News, you’re complicit. And if you’re one of the aforementioned journalists, your names and faces are being used to mask bigotry, hate and prejudice. So shame on you too. https://t.co/9YLw3CoMZv

Dornic has received criticism since CNN recently let white supremacist Richard Spencer on their network to provide his insight on President Trump’s tweets.
