Brian Williams raps Snoop Doggy Dogg’s ‘Gin and Juice’

Everyone’s favorite rapping news anchor is back, and this time, he’s getting down to Snoop Doggy Dogg’s ‘Gin and Juice.’

NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams appeared on The Tonight Show on Monday evening, where host Jimmy Fallon revealed his latest creation: yet another rap video made up entirely of clips of Williams’ nightly broadcasts. The end result? Genius.

“Rollin’ down the street smokin’ indo, sippin’ on gin and juice,” Williams raps the well-known chorus. “Laid back — with my mind on my money and my money on my mind.”

Williams faux rapping career started when Fallon was host of Late Night and has already continued into The Tonight Show with ‘Rapper’s Delight.’

The anchor took it all in stride, joking with Fallon that he didn’t know how to thank him. Williams then took shots at the comedian, saying his news broadcasts pay for Fallon’s “hobby.” The newsman denied having anything to do with the rap videos.

“Let’s be clear, these are words — I’ve never said hippity,” he clarified. “Never said hippity. No, no, no, no, no. Hippity is a contraction.”

Williams added that he’s apparently become a big name in the rap community. He told Fallon that the next mash-up should be a Foxy Brown or Ludacris rap.
