Authorities have arrested two Northeast D.C. men in connection to a 2009 shooting that killed two and injured three others, making the arrests about a week after the case was featured on the America’s Most Wanted television show.
The Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Antonio Ramell Barnes, 20, and Earl Timothy Jackson Jr., 19, on Saturday, charging them with first-degree murder while armed, according to the Metropolitan D.C. Police.
The charges stem from an Oct. 13 afternoon shooting on Clay Terrace in Northeast in which five teens were gunned down. Davonta Artis, 15, and Daquarn Tibbs, 18, were both killed.
Saturday’s arrests were the third in the case. In Aug. 2010, cops charged an 18-year-old with two counts of manslaughter, conspiracy, and carrying a pistol without a license.
