The Sutter Group, a marketing communications group based in Lanham, has been nominated for a WebbyAward for the Best E-mail Marketing Initiative of 2007, according to a recent release. The Webbys are the leading international awards honoring excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, interactive advertising, online film and video and mobile Web sites, judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. The Sutter Group was nominated for “Spoiled Rotten,” a digital game sent out as an interactive holiday card. “To be nominated for a Webby when so many entrants are large national agencies and interactive firms is an honor and testament to the little guy making a big impact online,” said Karen Sutter, president of The Sutter Group, in a statement.Winners will be announced on May 1.
