Late-night host Stephen Colbert helped President Trump create a Valentine’s Day message for first lady Melania Trump.
“The Late Show” clipped together videos of Trump during the campaign and his first year in office to create the Valentine’s message, which mocks Trump for continuously bringing up his election win.
“Melania, I just wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart, which by the way is so strong, good stamina, unlike Hillary, that’s why she lost the election,” Trump says. “Remember that? Nov. 8, wasn’t that a great evening?”
“But anyway, Melania, such a wonderful, beautiful woman,” the video continues before Trump trails off talking about how much he loves women.
The video ends with Trump almost expressing his love for Melania.
“But baby, I’ll tell you what. I love, I love, I love U-tah,” he says. “I mean Utah, did you see how many points I won by Utah?”
The president and first lady have been more private than previous first couples with their marriage. The pair did not publicly celebrate their anniversary last month and their marriage was scrutinized after it was revealed that Trump’s longtime lawyer paid hush money to an adult film star who claimed she had an affair with the president shortly after he married Melania.
