KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Police say two people were injured in a shooting at central Florida mall and two men believed to be suspects were killed when their car crashed as they fled.

Orlando television stations reported that the victims were not involved in a fight before the shooting Tuesday evening at Osceola Square Mall in Kissimmee. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Police that the suspects got into a car and drove toward officers before fleeing. Officers heading to the scene saw a car speeding away and turned to follow it. But the vehicle crashed into another car about three miles from the mall.

Officers say there was an altercation at a nearby Ross Dress for Less just before shooting near the mall’s entrance.

No further details were immediately available.
