Abramoff documentary coming to the District

Casino Jack,” the feature flick in which actor Kevin Spacey portrays lobbyist Jack Abramoff, has found a distributor and will open in theaters across the country this fall, but before it hits theaters, another Abramoff movie will open in D.C. in May.

“Casino Jack and the United States of Money” is a documentary about the scandal directed by Alex Gibney. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

Both movies will bring a collection of politicos and Washingtonians to the big screen including former Bush adviser Karl Rove, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and disgraced former Ohio Rep. Bob Ney.
