Donald Trump on Sunday night said he was “very embarrassed” by a video from 11 years ago in which he is heard making degrading comments to women, but at the same time dismissed it as “locker room talk.”
“This was locker room talk. I’m not proud of it. I apologized to my family. I apologized to the American people. Certainly I’m not proud of it. But this is locker room talk,” he said.

“Yes. I’m very embarrassed by it. I hate it. But it’s locker room talk, and it’s one of those things,” he added.
Trump said he wasn’t “proud” of the video, and said he “hated” his remarks. He also reiterated his apology, which he first released hours after the video emerged.
