VILLA PARK, Ill. (AP) — State Sen. Tom Cullerton will host four town hall meetings next week, allowing constituents to ask questions about the spring legislative session and particularly about property taxes.
The Villa Park Democrat says the meetings will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Glendale Heights Village Hall, Tuesday at Villa Park Village Hall, Wednesday at Itasca Village Hall and Thursday at the Hanover Park Community Room.
Township assessors will be available at each meeting with information about property taxes. Those wishing to ask questions should bring their property tax bills, any property appraisal done in the past 18 months, and a closing statement if the property was purchased with a year.
