Ryan: It’s clear Obama’s ‘hostile to the Second Amendment’

House Speaker Paul Ryan said Tuesday night that President Obama’s attitude toward the Second Amendment is nothing short of “hostile.”

“It’s clear he’s hostile to the second amendment. There’s no loophole here, he’s just frustrated with the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens,” Ryan told Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

The GOP leader said aside from tightening gun controls, the president’s executive action was also an attempt to divert the public’s attention from his administration’s record and fluster Republican members of Congress.

“He wants to distract us also so that we are not looking at his failures, like a failure to confront radical islamic terror, a failure to defeat ISIS and he wants to get us off our game to offer a bold conservative agenda to the country,” added Ryan.

GOP House members are 10 days away from their annual retreat. Ryan, only two months into his new gig, said his leadership team will explain how they plan to include everyone in the planning and carrying out of a “bold agenda” in the coming year.
