Pups in the park returning to Nationals Park

Can’t bear to be without your pup for just one second? AND feel like no one understands? Well now you can meet some like-minded canine lovers with attachment issues at the return of Pups in the Park, hosted by the Nationals and the Washington Humane Society.

The first of several dog day afternoons at Nationals Park is scheduled for May 14, when the Nats take on the Florida Marlins at 1:05 p.m. Tickets for humans are $20; canines only have to fork over $5. Proceeds from the dog tickets benefit the Humane Society and the first 20,000 fans will also receive a free eco-friendly tote from Natural Balance Pet Foods.

The Nats will also have a pet zone with a water station, dog-sitting services and pet food sampling. Before the game a Pup Parade will be led by Tillman, “The World’s Fastest Skateboarding Dog.”

The Nats have scheduled additional doggy dates for  July 9 and Sept. 24. Tickets for the games may be purchased at nationals.com/pups.
