Benedict Cumberbatch may be nominated for an Oscar for his role in “The Imitation Game,” but Ellen DeGeneres challenged the actor to play an impersonation game on her show Wednesday.
While his Jack Nicholson and Alan Rickman were spot on, Cumberbatch struggled to capture the essence of Reese Witherspoon and Bill Clinton.
In fact, he was so far off on Clinton that DeGeneres actually asked if it was current President Obama.
Eh, Cumberbatch is British and they are at least both Democratic presidents. We’ll give him a pass, but mostly because of his perfect Jar Jar Binks.
