The boyfriend a former Washington Redskins cheerleader charged in her death is scheduled to face trial in November, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
The newspaper reported that 32-year-old Jason Griffith has pleaded not guilty to killing Vegas showgirl Debbie Flores-Narvaez, 31. Flores-Narvaez was an ambassador for the Redskins’ cheerleaders in 2007 and 2008. She appeared at games and interacted with fans in the stands.
Griffith’s trial is scheduled to begin Nov. 28.
Flores-Narvaez was reported missing Dec. 12. Her dismembered body was found encased in concrete nearly a month later. Police say Griffith strangled Flores-Narvaez to death before covering her in concrete.
The pair reportedly had a violent confrontation about two months before she disappeared.
