Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley is again hitting Hillary Clinton for being inconsistent on the issues. Except this time, O’Malley is pointing out one issue Clinton has been consistent on: advocating for Wall Street.
O’Malley made the comments in an interview with MSNBC:
“We have seen Secretary Clinton shift positions on any number of issues right up until the eve of the debate. She shifted positions on Keystone, shifted positions on Trans Pacific Partnership. I was against Keystone a year ago. I was against the Trans Pacific Partnership 8 months ago,” O’Malley told MSNBC.
“The one thing that Secretary Clinton has not been able to switch position on is Glass-Steagall and the big mega banks that now still threaten to crash our economy. She cannot change her position on that. As she said herself, she represented Wall Street. And I think that’s a huge difference.”
