The Dundalk Heritage Fair kicked off Independence Day early, beginning festivities Friday that will stretch through the weekend.

The fair offers “about a bazillion things to do and see,” every day through July Fourth from noon to 9:30 p.m., according to the fair?s Trailer Boss Jo Mills, of Dundalk.

Two stages will feature main attractions such as the Grammy award-winning country music singers the Bellamy Brothers, who will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday. For a little more twang, visitors can see the blue grass band Jericho Bridge at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on stage two.

Sunday?s music headliners include Grammy award-winning band The Lettermen at 8 p.m. on stage one and classic rock hits from Boss Camp at 7:30 p.m. on stage two.

For some daytime fun with the family, visitors can watch pig races on Saturday and Sunday, stop by the petting zoo for some hands-on time, or play with model airplanes and trains.

The Dundalk fireworks show begins at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Northpoint Government Center and Grange Elementary School on Merritt Boulevard and Wise Avenue.
