The morning after President Obama declared “Nobody messes with Joe” and bestowed upon Vice President Joe Biden the thankless task of overseeing federal spending for waste, fraud and abuse, the VPOTUS was already up and working – on television.
As the administration’s designated morning show quarterback today, Biden made the rounds of NBC’s “Today” show, CBS’ “Early Show” and ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Asked by NBC’s Matt Lauer about Obama’s “Nobody messes with Joe” line, Biden suggested his wife, Jill, might disagree.
“I saw the look on my wife’s face,” Biden said. “She didn’t quite understand that.”
