Carly creates ‘debate response fund’ to counter establishment attacks

Fed up with establishment GOP efforts to put her down, rising Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has created a “debate rapid response fund” to counter efforts to keep her out of the upcoming debates in order to make room for those favored by the “political class.”

In an email fundraiser, she said the effort springs from the “panic” establishment candidates felt with she was declared the “winner” of the first debate even though Fox stuck her on the pre-debate stage with the less popular candidates.

She said the fund will help counter attacks she expects now that she’s made the main stage for the upcoming CNN debate taking place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library.

Her email:

My victory in the first Fox News debate sent the political class into full-on panic mode. They teamed up to try to push me out of the next debate. But conservatives around the country helped me punch back! I look forward to participating in the debate at the Reagan Library.

Getting on the debate stage was just the first round in a long fight. You can be sure the political class is going to fight that much harder to stop our momentum. They’re already planning their attacks. And I need your help, right away.

That’s why we’re starting a debate rapid response fund–so we can fight back against the attacks that come–both on and off the debate stage.

Can I depend on you to chip in $13 right away, to help us prepare for the debate and the attacks that are sure to follow?

I’ll be honest: I spent decades climbing the ladder in the business world–going from a secretary to the CEO of one of the world’s largest tech companies. I’m used to being underestimated, and I’m used to fighting back.

I know this campaign and our message can weather any attack the political class can throw at us–but only if we have the resources we need to set the record straight, and make sure our voice can cut through the noise.

Can I depend on you to pitch in $13, so we can continue to prepare for the debate and punch back against the political class this fall?

Thanks for your help–and thanks for helping bring leadership back to the Oval Office in 2016.

Carly
