Do the tabloids really expect us to believe every breathless announcement that Angelina Jolie is adding to her family? Just six months after the Oscar winner delivered Knox and Vivienne, the cover of Star trumpets, in huge letters, “TWINS AGAIN!”
But get this — the tabloid isn’t claiming the actress and paramour Brad Pitt are expecting: So far, they’re allegedly just trying to up their brood from six to eight.
“Angie’s doctors told her that she has a strong chance of conceiving twins if she does it within two years after having her first pair,” a pal confides. “She’s been seeing a fertility doctor regularly. She and Brad are monitoring when she’s fertile. And they’re trying really hard in the bedroom!”
Well, that last part seems like a safe guess. But other than that, Star seems to have scaled new heights of spurious speculation. The cover promises to tell us “where Angie will give birth” — and she’s not even pregnant yet!
Third TIME’s the Charm?
We were so excited when Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams were caught canoodling in Canada over the summer — and so crushed when the on-again lovebirds called it off … again. But a new report in People that they still carry a torch for each other gives us hope.
Though the “Notebook” stars are both “openly single” at the moment, a source says, Ryan “still loves Rachel and Rachel still loves him, but the timing is off and they can’t make each other happy right now.”
Rachel is currently filming “Sherlock Holmes” in London, and Ryan is DJing in L.A. “Gosling is all about making music because he’s putting out a record,” the source says. “He spends a lot of time recording.”
But the door is still open for a reconnection, the source notes, since he “is still close to McAdams’ family and he still speaks to Rachel.”
Kate: Happy Single
Some women are on the hunt for a man; others, evidently, have to fight to keep them away. (We wouldn’t know.) Kate Hudson says she belongs in the latter category: The actress has “made a conscious decision” not to have a boyfriend.
“I’m actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been,” the former Mrs. Chris Robinson explains to guest interviewer Stella McCartney, a close pal, in InStyle.
“I feel good in relationships,” the “Almost Famous” star explains. “But it’s also the first time I’ve ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. So, I’ve made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.”
To that, Stella responds with a zinger: “What’s it been — all of two weeks? Congratulations!”
