Biden melts hearts in frozen custard shop

During a visit to a Winston-Salem eatery Wednesday, Vice President Biden surprised customer Tae J. Kim by sitting down next to him. Kim, a 30-year-old businessman who moved to the U.S. from Korea 20 years ago, ended up telling Biden — over his key lime custard — that he’d become a U.S. citizen just a few months ago.

Biden, who was eating a double-dip of vanilla and dark chocolate, replied, “Thank you for choosing us.”
