St. Louis researcher tops the ‘hot’ list

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis researcher is being called the “hottest” in the nation.

Thomson Reuters on Wednesday announced its list of 2013’s hottest researchers, based on citations of their work.

At the top of the list is Washington University’s Richard K. Wilson, professor of genetics and molecular biology at The Genome Institute. Wilson is also a researcher at Siteman Cancer Center.

Three other genomic researchers at Washington University are on the list: Li Ding, Elaine Mardis and Robert Fulton.
