Alexandria is the most romantic city in America, according to a new analysis by Amazon.com.
The company compiled sales of romance novels, relationship books, romantic comedy movies, sexual wellness products, and Barry White albums since Jan. 1, 2011. On a per capita basis, Alexandria residents spent the most, making it Amazon’s most romantic city in America.
It’s the second year in a row Alexandria has topped the list. Arlington also cracked the Top 20 at No. 15.
Del. David Englin tweeted Thursday that he was “proud to represent Alexandria, Va. – officially the Most Romantic City in America!”
