It looks like Rep. Gabby Giffords still has her sense of humor, even as she’s sitting through physical therapy and rehab day after day, recovering from an assassination attempt that left her with a gunshot wound to the head back in January. And her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, talked about a lot of the details of her recovery on the “Daily Show” Tuesday night, where he told host Jon Stewart that Gabby is a big fan of the show. “It’s the highlight of her day,” he told Stewart, explaining, “On the weekends she watches the news programs but during the week after dinner she watches ‘The Daily Show’ from the night before.” Stewart, for his part, was humbled. “You know what, I’m going to have to do a better job,” he said, laughing. “Now that I know important people are watching, I’m going to have to try a little harder.”
