The Charles County Sheriff’s Department is searching for the man who robbed a Waldorf bank over the weekend.
Authorities say the man acted like he had a gun Saturday inside the Capital One Bank at 3068 Waldorf Market Place. The bank teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the area.
The man is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8, black and has a medium build. He was seen on a bank surveillance video wearing a white Polo shirt with green stripes, a white baseball hat and safety glasses.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the man. Anybody with a potential lead is asked to call 888-411-8477.
