Avada Kedavra, Harry Potter. The mighty wizard Joe Biden is off with his fellow cohorts in the Obama administration on some gun control policy adventures.
“Merica,” a series of animated videos from Misfit Politics, features the ever-confused Joe Biden, a hooded George Soros and “the leader of the free world and her husband” — or as they’re formally known — President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
As the group bumbles around and encounters many unique foes and friends — from a gun-toting raging gay man to Kim Jong-un — the videos inform the audience through the animated politicians’ antics about just how mythical the President’s views on gun control really are.
In fact, it seems that the secret service agent is the only sensible animated character in the series.
“Joe, it’s one thing to take precautions and be more careful about gun safety, but telling the world that guns are the problem is just being dishonest,” Agent said, trying to warn Biden that wishful thinking and magic can’t compare to a gun when trying to protect oneself from danger.
Will Wizard Biden and Sir Mouse succumb to the sometimes vulgar pressure of the Obamas to rid the world of guns? Or will Agent’s sensible words actually get through to the group?
