After bringing a slew of stars to the District to show off “Game Change” earlier this month, HBO has chosen D.C. to host another one of its premieres. Next month, “Veep” star Julia Louis-Dreyfus and show creator Armando Iannucci will head to town to host an invite-only screening of the television show’s first episode at the United States Institute of Peace. “Veep” is a comedic look at the vice presidency, revolving around the life of senator-turned-Veep Selina Meyer, who looks from the previews to be funnier and have a fouler mouth than both Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. The first episodes were mainly shot in Baltimore, but film crews made sporadic trips to Washington as well. The series debuts on HBO on April 22.
