Declaring that “there is no reason to be coy,” populist Republican Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Tuesday presented a meaty agenda that could become his 2016 presidential platform.

Speaking to reporters about a national energy plan, Jindal opened the rest of his portfolio to reveal several other key issues he wants to address and said that he will decide his presidential plans after the November election.

Hitting Obamacare, President Obama’s “incoherent foreign policy,” the “new normal” mediocre economy, and White House “science deniers” who won’t unleash U.S. energy development, Jindal provided reporters at a Christian Science Monitor gathering with an agenda big enough to take on the presidential trail.

He scoffed at polls showing that he has little or no name recognition in Iowa and New Hampshire, noting that he didn’t take the pulse of polls when he ran for the House or then for governor.
