Baltimore County police arrested a man Friday who they say shot three people in the parking lot of Coco?s Bar and Grill in Essex in May.

Khan Williams, 23, of Parkville, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, assault and handgun charges.

Detectives say that at 1:17 a.m. May 17, bouncers escorted Williams and his friends out of the bar after an argument.

Once outside, Williams continued arguing with several people, pulled out a handgun and fired several shots that struck three people.

The victims are identified as:

» Robert Legrand, 34, of Baltimore, shot once in the buttocks.

» Frank Bele, 20, of Baltimore, shot once in the left leg.

» Randy Morton, 34, unknown address, shot twice in the upper back and the arm.

All three victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives arrested Williams, whom witnesses identified as the gunman, in Baltimore without incident at 11:15 p.m. Friday.

Williams, who was denied bail, is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center awaiting trial.
