Hannity: There are ‘total resistance’ people on Fox

Fox News prime-time anchor Sean Hannity claimed there are “total resistance” people on the network during his show Thursday night.

The anchor’s remarks came during a heated monologue by Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera about the investigation and report being led by U.S. Attorney John Durham, who was picked by Attorney General William Barr to look into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation.

“By the way, we’re hardly a channel of agreement. We have a few resistance people on this channel, if we’re going to be honest, Geraldo,” Hannity stated, before adding, “I mean total resistance, not half resistance.”

There are a few Fox News personalities known to have come out against President Trump, including Shepard Smith, Donna Brazile, and Juan Williams.

Smith, who is a frequent critic of Trump, has faced the president’s wrath on multiple occasions. He has also faced attacks from others on his own network.

Smith and opinion prime-time host Tucker Carlson exchanged harsh words after a guest on Carlson’s show referred to a network contributor as “a fool” and did not receive pushback from the host. Smith proceeded to call it “repugnant” that Carlson did not interject or take exception with the insult.
