LIVINGSTON MANOR, N.Y. (AP) — A New York City teenager has died after being hit by a car while he was riding a bicycle in rural Sullivan County.
State police say 18-year-old Tristan Serrano and another bicyclist were riding on DeBruce Road in Livingston Manor on Sunday when a Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a camping trailer started to pass them. Police say Serrano was hit when he moved into the path of the vehicle.
Serrano died at the Catskill Regional Medical Center.
No tickets were issued.
