Two Hyattsville teens who are accused of robbing, chasing and beating a man to death in Bladensburg have been charged as adults with murder, police said.

Andre Attaway, 16, and James Murray, 17, are charged with first-degree murder and robbery, according to Prince George’s County police. The suspects provided statements in which they admitted their involvement in the death of 54-year-old David Krupski.

About 11 p.m. Saturday, police went to the 5200 block of Newton Street to respond to a report of disorderly people drinking and chasing each other with a shovel. Officers found Krupski’s lifeless body on the side of the road near his home.

Krupski’s body had suffered trauma to the upper body, police said, and the body has been taken to a medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
