Tourism trends set for discussion on Grand Strand

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Tourism leaders on South Carolina’s Grand Strand are getting on update on marketing trends.

The event is being held on Tuesday in Myrtle Beach by the local Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The topics range from digital travel trends to outlooks for the coming tourism season.

There are also presentations on air traffic to the Grand Strand and on the local golf industry. Myrtle Beach is the heart of South Carolina’s $15 billion tourism economy.
