America’s beer craze continues to pop and it appears to have no end.
According to the latest stats from the Brewers Association, there are a modern record of 7,480 breweries, up 13% and driven by the continued surge in craft beer makers.

What’s more, there are another 2,500-3,000 breweries in the works, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
“Growth continues to follow a similar pattern we have seen in the past few years, with steady rates in the low-to-mid single digits,” said Bart Watson, chief economist, Brewers Association.

“The majority of growth continues to come from microbreweries, taprooms, and brewpubs, whereas the distribution landscape remains more challenging for regional craft brewers.”
