This week, Ruben Kihuen, a Democrat running for Nevada’s 4th Congressional District, complained about wealthy and elite members of Congress while speaking at a Fight for $15 rally in Las Vegas.
But today, today we have leaders in Congress that are part of the wealthy and the elite, people who don’t look like you and I, people who represent the big corporations and the big companies, and the multi-millionaires that don’t relate to you or to myself.
However, Kihuen’s primary opponent Susie Lee was in the crowd, watching his speech. Lee’s husband is a wealthy former casino executive, and Lee herself is a multi-millionaire whose family net worth is between about $8 and $23 million. Here’s Lee in the crowd:
