DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say a 1-year-old boy has been found unharmed in the District Heights area after an Amber Alert was issued for him.
Cpl. Larry Johnson, a police spokesman, says Cesar Steven Martinez was found with his father Julio Cesar Arriaza just before midnight Tuesday. Johnson says charges are pending against Arriaza.
Maryland State Police had issued an Amber Alert for Martinez, whom they said had been abducted by his father Monday in the 7000 block of Nimitz Drive in District Heights.
