The Howard County police are offering a $1,000 award to anyone with information on a suspect responsible for the armed robbery of a gas station in Ellicott City earlier last week.
The April 23 incident occurred at the Shell gas station in the 9000 block of Baltimore National Pike around 11:45 p.m. A black male entered the station, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money, according to the police.
The suspect is 25 to 32 years old, about 6 feet tall and has a medium build.
