The president and first lady spent a lot of time celebrating a very special day with the Easter Bunny on Monday, and no, it wasn’t the anniversary of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead.
The Obamas honored the fifth anniversary of Michelle’s championed Let’s Move! campaign geared toward getting America’s youth healthy, and they invited girl band Fifth Harmony to sing “Happy Birthday” to the initiative.
Fifth anniversary, Fifth Harmony — get it?!
The girl group was the perfect choice for musical entertainment, since its members think that Michelle Obama is a “boss.”
Dear @LetsMove,
Happy 5th Birthday!
From,
@FifthHarmony

The members of Fifth Harmony appear to have been quite enthusiastic about their trip to the White House, at least according to their social media accounts.

Despite Easter being a candy-centric holiday, the Obamas actually made the entire theme of Monday’s White House Easter Egg Roll the first lady’s #GimmeFive campaign, which as part of Let’s Move! asks individuals on social media to name five ways they are leading a healthy lifestyle.
“We’ve had so much fun doing this challenge,” Michelle said during her remarks following Fifth Harmony’s performance. “Beyoncé has done it. Michael Strahan has done it. Everybody is doing it. Ryan Seacrest. So be a part of the movement. It’s fun. It’s a great way to get everybody moving.”
The first lady later turned the White House lawn into a flash mob when she invited individuals to perform the #GimmeFive dance that she unveiled on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last month.
