Those Libertarians sure know how to party.
While attending the New Orleans Southern Leadership Conference in June, the campaign threw a party at the Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant racking up a total bill of $12,139.93 according to the campaign’s FEC report.
The restaurant offers, “fresh, handcrafted beer and premium, made-from-scratch food…all served up in a friendly and fun atmosphere.”
“Congressman Paul held a reception and served food and drinks for over 500 attendees of the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.” campaign spokesman Jesse Benton responded to the Washington Examiner in an email.
Paul came to New Orleans with the right spirit. He won the SLC straw poll with 612 votes.
