The Adams Morgan jumbo slice pizza showdown has made the Travel Channel.
In Tuesday’s episode of “Food Wars,” the family feud between the Chishti brothers and their dueling shops — “Jumbo Slice” and “Pizza Mart” — is aired out for those outside of Beltway, to determine who makes the best jumbo slice pizza.
The B-roll and testimonials glamorize the Adams Morgan neighborhood as the premiere party spot of D.C., and the drunken testimonials from late night foodies are candid. Ben’s Chili Bowl also gets a plug in the episode, talking up the half-smoke.
So who won the cheesy, greasy showdown? We’re not telling.
