Report: Trump meets with Fox’s Megyn Kelly

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday reportedly met with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, an anchor who he has repeatedly called out as unfair during his campaign for president.

Kelly was spotted Wednesday entering Trump Tower, which serves as the developer’s primary home and his campaign headquarters.

A Fox News spokesperson did not return a request for comment from the Washington Examiner but a statement released to media said that details of the meeting will be announced on Kelly’s program Wednesday night.

Trump and Kelly have publicly feuded since August, when in the first GOP debate, Kelly confronted the billionaire with disparaging comments he has made in the past about some women. Since then, Trump has accused Kelly of being “unfair” and unnecessarily hostile to him and his campaign.

In recent days, however, the two have publicly hinted that they were open to an interview.

“I’d probably do it,” Trump told New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd in early April.

Around the same time, Kelly said in a separate interview that she would “absolutely” do an interview with Trump.
